My first appointment was in Newport with Brittney, They got me scheduled within 2 days of my initial phone call. The service I received was fantastic. I would highly recommend True North Hearing to everyone suffering from any degree of hearing loss. The exam I received and Brittney's explanation of options was handled in a very professional manner and I couldn't be happier with with the product I purchased. Thanks to everyone at True North Hearing!!

Friendly and considerate

Good service and everything was explained to us.

No flexibility towards the patients (this is not going to be a good review). We were 15 minutes late for our appointment and it was the end of the day. If you are dealing with older patients, and I think many hearing impaired people are older, I would think there would be a little give and take built in. It is a 60 miles round trip for us. We were supposed to have an appointment 10 days earlier and showed up only to be told the appointment was cancelled. Another 60 mile round trip. We showed a little flexibility and said we would come back 10 days later. It did not feel like very caring customer service to us. Maybe they don't need the business.

Friendly and efficient

My husband has been through so much with this company. The hearing aide's are a constant problem.The person there, is not a people person. She does not listen to the consumer. She has made our lives miserable with her indorendos. We just want it to be over with. The hearing aides most of the time don't work after a few times. Have to keep going back and now will be getting charged for it. This is a manufactor default. She just does not get the problem fixed. I really would like to undue thus head ache for us thankyou.

Friendly but professional

The ladies at True North in St. Johnsbury are very pleasant and I always enjoy going for appointments. They are efficient, knowledgeable, and quick to address any concerns I may have. The office is very pleasant and clean, and I also appreciate how convenient the parking is - no long walk to get into the office. My hearing aids work flawlessly. I couldn't be more pleased.

Everybody was great

I think people were having a bad day. Everyone seemed "short" in conversation alternating with being nice which I have come to expect. When I called back to say I could not find something and could we do something a very sarcastic response of this was going to be the only time. If I can't find something, I can't and could not do what was expected of me.

Very good experience short but good

If you even think you might have a hearing problem, this is the place to go! I knew I had some hearing loss in one ear, and it was confirmed, but Sandy also tested to see if it was actual loss or something preventing my ear from hearing, and it was the latter. So she referred me to a doc to get to the bottom of it! My hubby, on the other hand, had a 40% loss in both ears. He was fitted with hearing aids and was amazed at what he could now hear! What really amazed me was that Sandy was able, through a simulation program, to let me experience what my hubby's hearing had been like. It was so sad to actually see how much he has been missing! And as he listened with the hearing aids, and she told me that "the 'normal' sound we just heard, sounds like this to him...." he was shaking his head in affirmation. He heardthe birds singing this morning - for the first time in YEARS!!! Thanks to Sandy and Diane!!

Young lady who did my exam was very nice and pleasant.

I have had hearing evaluation befoe and fitted a number of years ago. This is far, far superior. Things are totally explained, advantages and disadvantages of certain hearing aides and then when mine came in the instruction and concern about doing it properly, making sure all questions answered and a follow-up a week later to go over anything I wanted an explanation about or an adjustment. I wish I had had this happen first time

Received an offer to have my hearing checked and my existing hearing aids cleaned and tuned. Got a hearing check and a sales pitch for new devices. Once they knew I just wanted my devices worked on, they couldn't get rid of me fast enough. So they didn't do as advertised and didn't give deals as advertised. Never again.

Service is poor. Technician not skilled. Batteries were to be supplied but were not. I had to buy them elsewhere. Pleasant staff.

Excellent service with a recommended product that is right the first time. I have always felt I was too young to have hearing aids, but when my hearing loss started affecting my work, it was time to do something. Sandi and Ginny took me right in and within moments of having the right product for my situation, I could feel my brain relax and actually hear all the words people were saying instead of making an educated guess from sounds and lip movement. By far a life changing experience and if you think you might need hearing aid, I recommended stopping in for an honest opinion. -Tyler
